St. Patrick's Day

I am a few days late, but isn't that the story of my blog?  We decided that we wanted to make corned beef and cabbage for St. Patrick's Day.  Well...I never made it to the store to buy it.  So instead this is what we had:
We did have corned beef and cabbage on Tuesday...salty is all I can say about that!  I much preferred the Filet Mignon, green mashed potatoes and green beans!

Great idea on the green mashed potatoes! And you can't go wrong with filets!

I never would have thought about eating green food on St. Patrick's Day... Fun.

Works for me. We had the corn beef and cabbage like three days early and I don't even remember what we had on the holiday. I guess as long as you get it in there sometime in the week you are still making St. Patrick happy.
